Introduction

A wedding marquee gives you a blank canvas — your own space, styled exactly the way you want it, wherever you want it, rather than fitting your day around a fixed venue’s décor and rules. We supply and install wedding marquees across Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire, from clear-span structures for larger receptions to more intimate pagoda and Capri-style marquees for smaller weddings, and we’ve been doing this for almost 20 years.

We work with couples from the early planning stage right through to the day itself, helping with layout, guest capacity, flooring, lighting, heating and furniture — Chiavari chairs, banqueting tables, a cocktail bar, whatever the day calls for. Everything is installed and dressed ahead of time, and we clear it all away afterwards, so you’re not left managing logistics on the day itself.

Why Choose a Marquee Wedding

A marquee wedding gives you control that a fixed venue often can’t — your own choice of location (a family garden, a favourite field, a venue with grounds but no in-house marquee), your own timings without another wedding booked in either side of yours, and complete flexibility on styling, catering and suppliers. It also means the space can genuinely be shaped around your guest list and your day, rather than the other way round.

Planning Your Wedding Marquee Layout

Most wedding marquees need to work as more than one space across the day — a ceremony area, a wedding breakfast layout, and an evening party set-up with a dance floor and bar. We help plan for this from the outset, including where furniture will be moved or reconfigured between the day and evening, where a dance floor will sit, and how catering and bar areas will flow. If your day includes a marquee plus an existing building (for a ceremony or catering prep, for example), we’ll plan the marquee to connect sensibly with that space.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book my wedding marquee?

We recommend booking 6–12 months ahead, especially for peak season dates between May and September. Popular Saturday dates in summer book up furthest in advance.

As a rough guide, allow around 1.5–2 square metres per seated guest, with additional space for a dance floor, bar, or any separate lounge or catering area. We’ll confirm exact sizing once we know your guest numbers and preferred layout.

Yes, many of our wedding marquees are laid out to work for a ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening party across the same space, with furniture reconfigured between each part of the day. We’ll help plan this with you.

Yes, our marquees are designed for the British climate and are fully weatherproof, with appropriate flooring, guttering and anchoring included as standard.

Yes — lining, flooring finish, lighting and furniture selection are all part of the service, so the marquee arrives dressed and ready rather than as a bare structure.

We collect and dismantle the marquee and remove all equipment after your event, typically the following day, leaving the site as we found it.
