When booking a marquee with Classic Marquees, please keep the following in mind:

What’s Included

  • Standard labour for delivery, setup, and takedown.

  • Basic lighting (chandeliers or uplighters). Additional lighting options are available on request.

  • Standard grey anthracite carpet. Other flooring choices are available.

  • Standard insurance cover for the hire period.

Additional Charges May Apply For:

  • Travel costs, depending on distance, time, and number of vehicles required.

  • Extra labour if the job requires more than standard setup.

  • Specific setup or takedown deadlines.

  • Weekend delivery or collection (Saturday/Sunday) – 15% surcharge.

  • Weekday delivery or collection outside 9am–5pm – 10% surcharge.

  • Drilling (£10 per stake) or weighting (POA) for clear span marquees.

  • Delays if access to site is restricted, or if vehicles cannot reach the build location.

  • Excess carry distance between vehicles and setup site.

Planning Your Space
Remember to allow additional space for reception areas, dancefloors, buffet tables, or bar areas if required.

Deposits & Payments

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.

  • Final balance must be paid by bank transfer at least 28 days before the event date.

  • Written quotations are available on request, but bookings are only confirmed once a signed booking form and deposit are received.

 

Site Information We Need


To provide an accurate quotation, please share:

  • Number of seated and/or standing guests.

  • Any restrictions on setup or takedown times.

  • Carry distance between vehicle access and the marquee site.

  • Whether the site is grass or hard standing, and if it is level.

  • Any obstructions (trees, bushes, fencing, narrow passages, uneven ground).

  • If the marquee is adjoining a building, which side it will connect to.

On the Day – Setup & Collection

  • A contact person familiar with the event must be on site during setup to ensure everything is positioned correctly. If no contact is present, our crew will build in the most suitable location, and changes may not be possible once construction has started.

  • On collection day, please ensure the marquee is cleared of decorations, rubbish, and personal items. A site contact is not required if access remains the same as setup.

    Yes, they provide full weather protection for typical UK conditions. Sidewalls can be added for extra shelter.

    How long does setup take?
    Most gazebos can be set up in under an hour, depending on the location and any extras.

    Absolutely. We often supply multiple units for events with different zones, such as catering, seating, and entertainment.

    Do you offer delivery and collection?
    Yes – delivery, installation, and takedown are included. Transport is charged based on your event location.
